Robert Allison Echols, Sr., 68 of Pass Christian died Friday, May 12, 2006 in Pass Christian.
He was a native of Marietta, GA and was a long time resident of the coast. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was employed as a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Mr. Echols was preceded in death by his father, Fred Echols and a grandson, Brandon James Echols. Survivors include his wife, Vivian Echols, Pass Christian; 2 sons, Robert A. Echols, Jr., California and Bobby Echols, Pass Christian; daughter, Crystal Crabtree, Diamondhead; his mother, Catherine Nix, Lumberton, MS; 2 sisters, Sonya Band, Maine and Cathy Vines, Lumberton, MS; brother, Ricky Nix, Columbiana, AL; 5 grandchilden and 1 great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be Monday, May 15, 2006 from 6 - 10 pm at Gulf Coast Funeral Homes, Inc., Kiln DeLisle Rd. Chapel. The funeral service will be 11:00 am Tuesday in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
