Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Lee Wenger Dubuisson of Gulfport; and his father, Alfred Silvon Dubuisson of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Nancy Adams Moore Dubuisson; his son, Jeffery Robert Dubuisson (wife, Elyse Russel Dubuisson) of Scuba, MS and Jeffery’s mom, Gail Allen Gonsolin; his step-son, Donald Chris Moore (wife, Rebecca Ghadiali Moore); three granddaughters, Nicole, Irene, and Emily Moore, all of Gulfport; his sister, Sylvia Wilkinson (husband, Jack Wilkinson); his nephews, Keith (Mandy) Odem and Glen (Samantha) Odem and their children; his beloved aunt, Edna Dubuisson; and his double first cousins, Laura Morrison, Linda Byrd, Gail (David) May, and Fred (Wanda) Dubuisson; and numerous second and third cousins.
Robert also left behind many friends and co-workers from MS Power Company, Plant Jack Watson, where he worked for 20 years. He previously worked for Irby Steel for many years.
He served his country in the National Guard. His unit was activated for Hurricane Camille and spent the next weeks helping search for survivors and preventing looting.
Robert was also a licensed pilot, having learned to fly by age 16. He was a member of EAA and was building his own plane when he became disabled by Parkinson’s. He enjoyed spending time at Shade Tree Airport with other plane people.
His interests ranged from planes, corvettes, trains, antiques, artifacts, guns, history, art, science, music, and literature.
