Robert "" Bob"" Copeland, 82, resident of Gulfport and former resident of Petal passed away Monday, October 3, 2011 in Gulfport.
Mr. Copeland was born July 14, 1929 in Moselle, MS. He married Donna Hood in 1948. Mr. Copeland was the proprietor of Bob's Auto Sales on Main Street in Petal for many years. He was a member of Klein Road Church of God in Gulfport.
Mr. Copeland loved spending time with his family, and he will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Genevieve Copeland; brother, Donald Copeland; grandson, Travis Camardelle; and son-in-laws, Wayne Wunstel and Emmett Shubert.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Donna L. Copeland; children Beverly Shubert, Darrell (Phyllis) Copeland, Cheryl (Paul) McMahan, and Lori Wunstel; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 am on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The funeral will follow at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.
