Robert Henry Cobb

Mr. Robert Henry Cobb, age 62, of Long Beach passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012 in Long Beach.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, G.W. Cobb; grandmother, Helen D. Bishop; and nephew, Chason Russell.
Survivors include his wife, Daphne Smith Cobb of Long Beach; mother, Murleen Clements of Foley, AL; two sons, Bruce Evans Cobb of Long Beach and Ronald Zachary Cobb of Long Beach; step children, Michael C. Powell of Alpharetta, GA and Erin Bailey and her husband Kennon of McHenry; and one grandchild, Aleighson Bailey of McHenry. He is also survived by his sisters, Donna Cobb Russell and husband Evans of Foley, AL and Carol Cobb Dean of Foley, AL; brother, Bruce Darrell Cobb and his wife Suzette of Robertsdale, AL; former wife, Deborah Stabler Cobb of Gulfport; and nieces, Lauren Russell of Foley, AL and Jessica Cobb of Robertsdale, AL.
He was a graduate of John Shaw High School in Mobile, AL and the University of Alabama. He worked for Morrison's and Memorial Hospital as the Director of Hospitality Services for thirty-six years. He was an avid fan of the University of Alabama Football.
Friends are invited to a visitation from twelve noon until two o'clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, the 15th of February, 2012, in the Sanctuary of the First Baptist Church of Long Beach, 300 North Cleveland Avenue in Long Beach. The funeral service is to be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, the 15th of February, 2012, in the Church Sanctuary with Dr. LaRue Stephens and Rev. Victor Chatham officiating.
