Robert Brumfield

Robert “Doyle” Brumfield, Jr., a resident of Kiln, MS, age 66, passed away January 5, 2021 in Bay St. Louis, MS.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Doyle Brumfield, Sr.; mother, Mary Jean McAllister Brumfield; and brother in law, Sandy Simmons.
Doyle is survived by his wife of 14 years, Karen Werth Brumfield; children, Jennifer Davis of Picayune, MS, and Emma McCoin of Pass Christian, MS; step-children, Travis Werth of Kiln, MS, and Shelly Werth; sister, Pam Simmons of Magnolia, MS; grandchildren, Tyler Bynum, Justin Bynum, Rhiannon Bynum, Alyssa Bynum, Abigail McCoin, and Gabriel McCoin; and other relatives, Bobby and Shannon Sterling and their children, Calvin and Dianna Sterling and their children, Devin and Cheyenne Sterling and their children.
After retiring as an offshore welder, Doyle enjoyed fishing with Roy, fires with Fred, riding his Harley/listening to his “$20,000 stereo.” He also enjoyed Busch and whiskey, saving his daughters from perpetual doom, singing Curtis Loew at karaoke, and last but not least, and playing taxi to his grandbabies.
Doyle was a man all about helping others. He donated his tissues and organs to continue to help people even after death. He always made sure his family was taken care of. Doyle loved to say “In the grand scheme of things, we’re not even a flea on a dog’s ass.”
In lieu of donations, the family requests donations to Toys for Tots.
