Robert Bogner, beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born on January 9, 1978, in Bermuda, Robert lived a life filled with passion and dedication.
A man of many interests and talents, Robert's love for target shooting and his cherished Corvette were central to his life. He spent countless hours working tirelessly to restore his beloved car, a labor of love that brought him great joy. His commitment to his hobbies was testament to his hard-working nature.
The news of Robert's passing has left a void in the hearts of many whose lives were touched by his presence. In addition to mourning his loss, we also celebrate the joyous memories left by Robert's presence. His spirit will forever remain in our hearts as we remember the extraordinary person he was.
Robert profoundly respected the military and veterans alike, and it was evident in his actions. In honor of his love for the military, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the VFW Post 3937 in Long Beach, a place Robert enjoyed spending time in and hanging out.
Preceding Robert in death was his loving mother, Mary Bogner. Her memory will forever be cherished as we reflect on the beautiful bond they shared.
Robert leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion within his surviving family. His loving wife of 18 years, Dori Bogner, stood by his side unwaveringly throughout their journey together. Their son, Benjamin, will forever carry his father's values and spirit with pride. Robert's father, John Bogner, will fondly remember their shared moments. Michael (Toni), Robert's little brother, shared a special connection filled with love and support. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews, Brandon, Ashley, Jacob, and Alexis who held a special place in his heart; and his in-laws whom he shared a profound bond with, Michael Hanko and Sandra Hanko.
As we bid farewell to Robert Stephen Bogner today, let us embrace the beautiful memories he left behind. May his soul find eternal peace as he watches over us all with that playful smile that will forever be etched in our hearts. A Gathering to Celebrate Robert's life will take place from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach. Friends and loved ones will gather to honor the memory of this remarkable man, as we come together to reflect on the beautiful moments we shared with Robert.
