Robert """"Bob"""" Lee Baylis, Sr., age 62 of Long Beach, died Monday, November 24, 2008 in Gulfport. There will be a graveside service at 1:30 p.m., Monday, December 1, 2008 at Biloxi National Cemetery. Funeral arrangements with the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach.
Bob was a long-time resident of the MS Gulf Coast. He served in the United States Navy where he was a heavy equipment operator. He was presently employed with Elevating Boats, Inc. of Houma, where he was a Captain. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ilene; son, Robert Lee Baylis, Jr and wife, Martina; daughters, Deborah Jean Brashers and Amanda """"Mandy"""" Baylis; grandsons, Robbie, Matthew, Eddie, Jacob and David; and one great grandchild; and his mother-in-law, Lillie Vaughn. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Carol Baylis.
