Richard Allen Wilkes, Sr., age 51, resident of Kiln, died, Wednesday, February 21, 2007 in Kiln, MS.
Mr. Wilkes was a resident of the coast in the Vancleave and Gautier area most of his life. He lived in the Kiln for 4 years and was a offshore worker.
Mr.Wilkes was preceded in death by his parents, Richard S. Wilkes and Beatrice Sessum.
He is survived by his son, Richard Allen Wilkes, Jr., and his fiance' Tiffany Hoda of Pass Christian; daughter, Lisa Moran and husband Bobby of Kiln; three sisters, Lois Bang of Gautier, Rita Waltman of Gautier and Gloria Jean; grandchildren, Bobby Joseph Moran, Jr. and Bryce Allen Moran both of Kiln; nephews, Glen Ray Bang, Chad Bang and Shane Wilkes; nieces, LaShonda Bang, Marty Waltman and Michelle Jackson.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 24, 2007 from 11:30-2:30 p.m. at Gulf Coast Funeral Homes, Kiln Delisle Road Chapel. Service will be at 2:30 in the chapel. Burial will follow at Alphonse Malley Cemetery.
