Richard Joseph """"Joe"""" Weaver, age 74 and a resident of Perkinston, died on Saturday, July 26, 2008, in Perkinston.
Mr. Weaver was a native of New Orleans, LA, where he was a member of the IBEW Local #130. He was also a member of The Village Church-Lutheran in Lacombe, LA. He served in the United States Air Force, and had been a resident of the MS Gulf Coast since 1997.
Mr. Weaver is preceded in death by his parents, William Henry & Hazel Vanderbrook Weaver and his brothers, Stanley Weaver & Frederick """"Freddie"""" Weaver.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Dugas Weaver of Dallas, GA; his daughters, Faith Homrighausen of Slidell, LA, and Hope Harrison and Jo Dee Abbott both of Dallas, GA; his brother, John Weaver of Lacombe, LA; his grandchildren, P.J. Homrighausen of Cleveland, OH, Joey Homrighausen of Gulfport, and Victoria Delarosa of Slidell, LA and eight great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at 12:45pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
