Richard Paul Tyler

Richard 'Ty' Tyler, age 55, of Gulfport, passed away March 5, 2014, in Gulfport, MS.
Ty was born in New York and got his work ethic from the farm. He later joined the Marines in 1979. He did many tours and played on the Marine Corps softball team. He enjoyed baseball, working on vehicles, music, and his children.
Ty is preceded in death by his loving parents, Roland and Elizabeth Tyler, and his Aunt Ruby Cunnings.
Ty is survived by his early wife, Dedra Tyler; his children, Steven 'Tyler' McGee, Richard Tyler Jr., David Tyler, and Rebekah Tyler; his loving siblings, Joyce Tyler, James Tyler, Robert Tyler and wife Bonnie, and Roland Tyler Jr and wife Jean; and grand-daughters Kirsten and Kylee. He was also survived by his loyal dog, Roxie, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be from Noon until 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 10, 2014 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi. The graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m., Monday at Biloxi National Cemetery.
