Richard C. Stone, 76, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019 in the comfort of his home.
Mr. Stone was a graduate of Gulfport High School and attended the University of Southern Mississippi. He served his country in the United States Army. He worked for Welch Construction, Reichold Insurance Sales, and Stone's Ice Cream. In his spare time he enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carrol E. and Josephine Stone.
Richard is survived by three children, John R. Stone, Dori M. Stone, and Tisha R. Stone-Gambill; five grandchildren, Amber Nicole Stone (Nikki Stone), Chris M. Stone-Cotton, Michelle J. Stone-Cotton, Ashlyn N. Gambill, and Joseph R. Gambill; and numerous cousins.
A graveside service will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery, at 11AM on Thursday, July, 18, 2019.
RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport is serving the family.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the American Heart Association of the American Cancer Society.
