Richard Shineflew, Sr.

MSgt Richard K. Shineflew, Sr., USAF, Ret., age 69, of Biloxi, passed away on June 3, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonie Wallis and Jack Shineflew.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Patricia Shineflew; 2 children, Melissa Cravero (Michel) and Richard Shineflew, Jr. (Jamin); a sister, Patsy Shineflew; 2 brothers, Henry Shineflew and Danny Shineflew; grandchildren, Anna Kathryn Shineflew, Jaxon Thomas Shineflew, Olivia Lynn Cravero, Lily Harper Shineflew, Luke Hudson Shineflew, Brennen Zakary Whiteard, and Jean-Baptiste Cravero; his Godfather, Frank Passmore, and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Shineflew served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and later retired as a Master Sergeant.  He later retired from the FAA after 22 years of service.  He enjoyed traveling and driving.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 8, 2018, from 11 am to 12 noon at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon in the church.  Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association.
