Richard Lee """"Dick"""" Osswald, age 82, of Long Beach passed away on Monday, December 17, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mr. Osswald was a resident of the Coast since 1965, he served in the United States Navy during World War II, and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1951 with a degree in electrical engineering. He was the owner of Osswald Engineering Consulting Firm and enjoyed playing golf.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Mae Louise Gordon; his brother, John Osswald.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Osswald of Long Beach; two children, Rick (Elizabeth) Osswald of Pass Christian and Joyce (Stephen) Rigby of Yatkinville, NC; one grandson, David Holloway of Arlington, VA.
Funeral service will be on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 11:00 A.M.. at THE RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, MS where friends may visit one hour prior.
