He showed his skills by winning first place in the 1999 Central Florida Regional Truck Driving Rodeo.
His major joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Rick studied Martial Arts from which he learned his Ninja-Like movement and a shoulder pinch he often used on his teenagers to get their attention. He loved sitting on the porch of the family cabin in Oklahoma. He enjoyed his Harley Davidson, camping, fishing and watching Western and Sci Fi movies. He was a very generous man, had a sharp wit, and loved a good joke. Like his father, Rick often gave his family and friends nicknames and would re-create other names of things for his own amusement. Rick was proud to be a lifetime member of the NRA and was a superb marksman.
