Mr. Richard Frederick Eastman, age 73, resident of Gulfport, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2008, in Gulfport.
Mr. Eastman was born in Chicago, Illinois, and reared in Lima, Ohio. He attended Bowling Green University before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force. He served 8 years active duty and also served in the Air National Guard. Mr. Eastman retired from Civil Service at Keesler. He had his private pilot's license, and was a member of the American Legion, Post 119, member of the DAV, and was a Shriner.
Mr. Eastman was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Margaret Eastman.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Gladys Patricia Netterville Eastman of Gulfport; daughter, Lea Eastman Montjoy and her husband, Paul of Diamondhead; son, Steve Eastman and his wife, Martha of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Eastman, Jackson, William, Michael, and Lauren.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at 10 am at Biloxi National Cemetery.
