Mr. Richard D. """"Yogi"""" Coleman, age 61, resident of Saucier, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2008, in Gulfport.
Mr. Coleman was a native and lifelong resident of the Coast. He was an avid hunter, and enjoyed making people laugh while pulling off pranks. He formerly worked for Bond Paving. During his life, he courageously fought many different illnesses, always with his great sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin Coleman and Frances Peterman; and a brother, John Coleman.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Patricia Coleman of Saucier; daughter, Pennie Ivy and her husband Ken of Saucier; stepson, Charles Morrow; stepfather, Pat Peterman, Sr. of Lyman; siblings, Annette Biksey of Lyman, James M. """"Cricket"""" Peterman of Saucier, and Pat Peterman, Jr. of Saucier; grandhcildren, Ashley and Elizabeth Ivy.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2008, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, where friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Finley Cemetery.
