Richard Louis "Ricky" Cloutier II

Richard ""Ricky"" Louis Cloutier II was taken to be with his Savior, Jesus, on Friday January 27, 2012. His family was at his side as he completed his long battle with cancer. He will be very much missed by his family, friends and dog, Lola.
Ricky was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ernest and Marjorie Cloutier of Jackson, Michigan and Willie and Lucy New of Graniteville, South Carolina.
Survivors include his loving parents, Richard and Patsy Cloutier of Gulfport, Mississippi; His brothers, Ernest ""Ernie"" Cloutier of Gulfport, Mississippi and Greggory (Karla) Cloutier of Lewisburg, Tennessee; and sister, Jo Ann (Chris) Cloutier Coates of Dickinson, North Dakota. He loved and cherished his stepchildren Jason, Amanda, Nicholas, Ryan, Jacob, Samantha and Jack of Metairie, Louisiana. He was blessed with numerous nephews and nieces from Florida, Minnesota, North Dakota and Tennessee.
Ricky graduated in 1976 from Gulfport East High School. Besides his family, his main loves were Cajun cooking, gardening, fishing and visiting favorite restaurants in New Orleans. Ricky's love for the city of New Orleans led him to learn and teach others about the city's heritage and he became an excellent 'tour guide' for friends and family visiting the area.
Ricky shared his faith, love and acceptance of Jesus Christ into his life with his friends and family. He was thankful for the prayers of those that loved him.
Ricky's generosity will be tenderly remembered by all. In lieu of flowers his family would prefer donations be made to the Handsboro United Methodist Church (2333 Demaret Dr., Gulfport, MS 39507) or the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
Visitation will be from 1:00 until the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 30, 2012 at the Handsboro United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. Tributes may be offered at www.riemannfamily.com. Arrangements handled by RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME in Gulfport.
