Rhonda L. Sumrall

Rhonda L. Sumrall, age 65, of Saucier, passed away on July 2, 2024, in New Orleans, LA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andy Smith and Shelma Odom Smith.

Mrs. Sumrall is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Tim Sumrall; her children, Ashley Litz (Bryan), Amy Sumrall, Amber Sumrall, and Nathan (Kathryne) Sumrall; her furbaby, “Ranezmae”; her grandchildren, Christian, Skyler (Rayanna), Faith, River, Landon, Ariana, Ryder, Adalynn, and Ashton; her brother, Keith Smith; her sister, Cathy Scarmack; her best friend, Genice Eastes; and other relatives and friends.

She was a dedicated mother and “Mimi” to her four children and nine grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Mrs. Sumrall loved traveling with her soulmate, Tim, and her cousins. She lived life to the fullest and praised Jesus along every step of the way.

The family would like to thank Dr. Douglas Lanier for being an excellent doctor and to the amazing team at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans. To all of our family and friends, thank you for all of the prayers throughout these last few years.

A gathering will be held at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, on Saturday, July 6, 2024, from 3 – 5 pm.
