Rex F. White, age 79, and a resident of Saucier, went to his eternal reward on Sunday, May 30, 2010.
He was a native of Quitman and lived on the coast for 25+ years. He served in the U.S. Navy for eight years and served during the Korean War. He retired from Keesler Air Force Base as a training specialist. He was a member of the Scottish Rite and a 32nd degree Mason. He attended Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church in Woolmarket with his loving wife.
Mr. White was preceded in death by his father, Cicero White; his mother, Laura Reeves and a brother, Garner White.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his sons, Wayne White of New Orleans, David White of Ft. Worth, TX and Robert White of Saucier; his granddaughters, Kayli, Sarah, and Lily Ann; daughter-in-law, Tari; his special friends, Jessie, Samantha, and Jessica Malone; his brothers, David H. White of Gulfport and Paul White of Jackson and his sisters, Lynn Fralix of Charleston, SC and Sybil Baronich of D'Iberville.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2010, at 1:30 p.m. at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
