Rex H. Johnson, Sr., age 75 of Gulfport, MS passed away on Friday, October 10, 2008 in New Orleans, LA.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Isaac W. Johnson and Laura May Johnson; and a grand-son, Billy Joe Johnson, Jr. Survivors include his children; Lyla Anderson of Saucier, Rex H. Johnson, Jr. of Perkinston, Billy Joe Johnson of Saucier, Elisa Anne O'Neal of Perkinston, and James Johnson of Saucier; his siblings, Isaac W. Johnson, Jr., Juanita Smith, Hillard R. Johnson, Troy Vee Johnson Dortch, Coy C. Johnson, Lola Millhone, Kent H. Johnson, Dona Pack, Donivan Johnson, and Grace Denning; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Mr. Johnson was retired from the Mississippi Power Company.
He devoted his life and love to his children and family.
Visitation will be held from 6p.m. until 8p.m. on Monday, October 13, 2008 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Hwy 49 N., Gulfport. Funeral services will be held at 10a.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 in the funeral home chapel. Burial to follow in Johnson Bethel Cemetery.
