Rebecca "Becky" Clemens

Rebecca (Becky) Parker Clemens, age 48, of Pass Christian, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, in Gulfport, MS.   She was a loving sister, wife, and, most of all, mother. She greeted everyone with love and grace and treated anyone who walked in the door as her own.

Becky graduated from Our Lady Academy High School in 1990 and received a B.S. Degree in Education from Southern Mississippi in 1998.  She later attended MGCCC, and attained degrees in surgical technology (2014) and nursing (2019).  Becky was a teacher at DeLisle Elementary and East Hancock Elementary school.  She was a surgical Tech at Gulf South Surgery Center, a registered Nurse at Sterling Surgical Center in Slidell, and finally a RN at Garden Park Medical Center in Gulfport.   Becky was a certified teacher and a registered nurse.  She loved traveling, going to the beach, cooking, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.

Becky was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Gordon Parker, Sr.; her grandmothers, Mildred Pagano, Helena Chambliss, and Agnes Sprinkle; and her grandfathers, Jesse E. Parker, William Sprinkle, and Salvador Pagano.

Becky is survived by her husband of 26 years, Jonathan Clemens; her mother, Shannon Parker; her children, Thomas Clemens, and Emily Clemens; her siblings, Renee Parker Malley (Bennie), Jesse Parker (Pam), Barbie Parker Swilley, Ritchie Parker and Greg Parker (Kimberly).

The family would like to offer a special thank you to Garden Park Hospital ICU and Emergency Room staffs for the amazing care and love they gave to our family during this difficult time.

The Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 22342 Evangeline Rd, Pass Christian, MS, with the visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. until time of service.  Burial will follow at Live Oak Cemetery.
