Rebecca Speck

Rebecca Dey Speck, age 18, of Gulfport, passed away on July 19, 2010 in Pass Christian.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, David Speck; and her great grandfather, Santos Cruz.
She is survived by her parents, Arthur David Speck and Lisa Speck of Gulfport; her grandparents, Jerry and Celia Pietzsch of Roscoe, TX; her grandmother, Kristen Speck of Girard, OH; her great grandmother, Anita Cruz of Roscoe, TX; her aunt and uncle, Paul Speck and Ellen Speck, and her cousins, Rachel and Julia Speck, all of North Ridgeville, OH.
She attended high school in Smithsburg, MD and graduated from West Harrison High School where she was a cheerleader. She was to be enrolled at MS Gulf Coast Community College, Jefferson Davis Campus and at Mississippi State University where she wished to receive a degree in Zoology with a minor in Marine Biology. She was a volunteer at the Humane Society of South Mississippi, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Grace Lutheran Church, Long Beach. She will be loved and missed by all.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 23, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL Home, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Grace Lutheran Church, Long Beach.
