Rebecca Ann Green

Rebecca Ann Green, age 72, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2024.

Rebecca was a Christian and life long Democrat. She graduated high school at L.W. Higgins. She was a fashion model in New Orleans and actress in several plays at the Le Petit Theatre. Rebecca worked for the University of Miami in the English Department. She then went to the administration department for the Jefferson Parish School Board. She was a supporter of the arts. Rebecca loved sewing, drawing, and traveling to Paris and London. She spent many years living in Waveland, MS.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Euna and Joseph Green; brother, David William Green; and nephew, David W. Green, Jr.

Rebecca is survived by Susanna McCall, Nancy Finlason (Hugh), and Jennifer Green; nephew, Garrett McCall; nieces, Susanna Martinez (Mathew) and Cynthia Schanez; great nephews, Kameron McCall and Christian Green; and great niece, Madison Green.

Entombment will take place at the family mausoleum in Louisiana at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mental Health Organization.
