Rayford Anthony Shiyou, age 60 and a resident of Diamondhead, died on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, in Diamondhead.
Mr. Shiyou was a native and lifelong resident of Kiln. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert & Aloise Shiyou; his brother, Calvin Shiyou and a grandson, Darryl Mitchell, Jr.
Mr. Shiyou is survived by his wife, Linda Mitchell Shiyou; his daughter, Gina Marie Shiyou of Baton Rouge, LA; his sons, Joshua Ray Shiyou of Oklahoma, Philip (Erika) Mitchell of Pass Christian, Darryl (Sharon) Mitchell of Baton Rouge, Douglas Ray and Tiffany Mitchell of Pass Christian; his brother, Ronald Herbert (Mary) Shiyou of Columbia, MS; six grandchildren, Amanda, Jessica, Justin, Ryan, A.J., and Madalynn and five great grandchildren, Alexis, Lilly Ann, Kambry, Jaydon, and Christian
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road in Pass Christian, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at New Delisle Cemetery.
