Randy Perkins

Randy Matthew Perkins, age 76, of Kiln, passed away on December 26, 2020, in Slidell, LA.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maude Necaise Perkins; his father, Francis Matthew Perkins; and a sister, Merle Perkins Tullier.

Mr. Perkins is survived by his children, Christine “Christy” Perkins Stone and Randy Matthew “Matt” Perkins, Jr.; 1 granddaughter, Allyson “Ally” Maria Perkins; and other relatives and friends.

He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Fremont (APA-44) during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1970. He worked for many years as a butcher and he enjoyed fishing and gardening. Randy was a country boy who lived his life by his rules. He loved his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all he touched.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 8, 2021, from 12 – 2 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, Pass Christian. A prayer service will be at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Bayou Coco Cemetery.
