Randy Newman

Randy Newman, age 73, of Wiggins, passed away on November 2, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lamar and Nell Newman; and a brother, Jimmie Newman.
He is survived by his wife, Gerri Newman; his children, Carla Newman Hilley (Mark), Brandon Newman (Angeline), Loren Newman (Angela), Mike Sullenberger, Cane Sullenberger (Mitzi), and Stephen Sullenberger (Tyler); a brother, Brett Newman; 9 grandchildren, Alac Sullenberger, Blaine Sullenberger, Cade Newman, Tate Sullenberger, Natalie Hilley, Jace Sullenberger, Renn Mackie Newman, Corban Newman, and Bret Jolie Newman; numerous loving nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and later graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Psychology.  He was a production manager with Redman Homes in Gulfport and Chandeleur Homes in Boaz, AL.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, and anything outdoors.
A gathering will be on Thursday, November 7, 2019, from 4 - 5:30 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials to be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
