Randall Gary Smith

Randall Gary Smith, age 68, of Gulfport, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, in Gulfport.

Randall is preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Leola Smith; his wife, Susan Smith; son, Randall Gary Smith II; and sister-in-law, Nancy Centerbar.

He is survived by his daughter, Danica Smith (Justin Saegert); his grandchildren, Brandon Leger, Cameron Leger (Courtney), Tayler Smith, Alivia Saegert, and Adalyn Saegert; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Russum, John-Luke Russum, Kohen Grayson and Kollins Grayson. 

Randall was a native of Gulfport and a graduate of Gulfport High School. He was retired. Randall Loved spending time with his family, fishing, and watching football. He was the best father and grandfather there ever was. 

Gary was well known in the community for coaching youth baseball for many years, where shortly after he retired, spent the last several years watching his grandchildren grow up. He never met a stranger and was loved by many.

Memorial contributions may be made in Randall's honor to Crosspoint Church Missions. 

 A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Evergreen Cemetery at 10:30 AM.
