Ralph Revere, age 79 of Gulfport, died on Monday, July 26, 2010, in Gulfport.
Mr. Revere had been a resident of Gulfport since 1977 and was a member of St. John Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, where he received the Purple Heart. Mr. Revere retired from MS Power after 17 years of service.
Mr. Revere was preceded in death by his parents, Rocco & Elizabeth Revere; his daughter, Susan Barbara Revere; his brothers, Robert Joseph Gaudet and Paul Revere and his sisters, Florence Walters and Rose Papp.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 55 years, """"Bobbie"""" Vaudie Revere of Gulfport; his brother, Andrew (Rose Ann) Revere of Gulfport and numerous nephews and nieces.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 30, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. at St. John Catholic Church, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. John Catholic Church, 2414 17th Street, Gulfport, MS 39501.
The Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
