Rachel D. Kilgore

Rachel D. Kilgore, age 83, of Gulfport, died on December 13, 2007 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by
her husband of 56 years, James Gordon Kilgore, Jr; her parents, Phillip Pelman, Sr. and Mary Ann Pelman; her brothers, Mortimer Pelman, Robert Pelman, Fred Pelman, David Pelman, and Richard Pelman; her sisters, Rosemary Pefferkorn, Martha Nell Stone, Lillie Chancellor, and Ann Schaad.
Mrs. Kilgore is survived by her children, Larry Kilgore and his wife, Ann, of Mobile, AL, and Terry Kilgore and his wife, Linda, of Paris, TX; grandchildren, Robert Kilgore and his wife, Lynn, of Mobile, Leigh Ann Hans and her husband, Chuck, of Land O Lakes, FL, Greg Kilgore and his wife, Robin, of Cypress, TX, Todd Kilgore of Columbia, MO, and Holly Kilgore of Dallas, TX; great grandchildren, Bethany, Hunter and Baby Kilgore, and Elizabeth and Ashleigh Hans; a brother, Phillip Pelman, Jr. of Gulfport; and sisters, Doris Grace Pelman of Gulfport, Peggy Pelman and Betty Baudouin and her husband, Bo, all of Harahan, LA. She was also looking forward to the birth of another great-grandchild in March.
She was a graduate of Laurel High School, and a member of First Assembly of God in Gulfport and Gulf Coast Worship Center. She taught Sunday School and Prims for over 15 years. And as a proud military wife for over 25 years she and her husband traveled the world.
The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Eugene Hassler, will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, where friends may call from 1:00 PM until service time. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
