Rachel Jean Bell

Rachel Jean Bell, age 48, of Biloxi, passed away on April 30, 2024. She was born on April 29, 1976, in Biloxi, Mississippi, to Robert Michael Bell and Susan Jane Holifield. Rachel graduated from St. Martin High School in 1993 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from Tulane University, where she was recognized as Summa Cum Laude. Her dedication to excellence extended to her service in the United States Navy.

Throughout her career, Rachel held various roles, including serving as an Administrative Assistant to the CEO of Pampered Chef in Chicago, IL, and working as an IT and Computer Analyst for Tenex. She also contributed her talents to Target and FedEx Ground. Rachel worked in a variety of professions and was known for her steadfast insistence on nothing less than excellence in the performance of her duties.

Beyond work, Rachel enjoyed a diverse range of hobbies, including fishing, computer work, hiking, music, gaming, casinos, Mardi Gras celebrations, shooting, and playing pool.

Rachel is preceded in death by her mother, Susan Holifield Bell; uncles Steve Holifield and Don A. Kuhn; and paternal grandparents, Wilburn and Beatrice Bell; and maternal grandparents, Bill and Joy Holifield.

She is survived by her father, Robert “Mike” Bell of Biloxi; aunt Karen A. Kuhn; and cousins, Craig M. Kuhn, Kenneth C. Kuhn, Katherine Kuhn, Kristen Nandin, Kenneth C. Kuhn II and Shelby C. Kuhn.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, MS. A reception will follow at the funeral homes reception center.
