Rachael Lyn Byrd, age 24, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2018 in Ocean Springs, MS.
Rachael was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Leslie Byrd, Jr; her maternal grandfather, Frank Larry Kennedy; and her maternal grandmother, Fredna Turnage Kennedy.
She is survived by her father, Dale Byrd; and her mother and step father, Karla and Chad Wages; her sister, Suzy Carlise (Ben); and her brother, Zach Byrd; one niece Mya Carlise; her paternal grandmother, Marie Byrd; her aunts, Merita Boney (James), Ruth Boney (Robert), Terry Kennedy (Dane), Kristal Sisson (Scott);and her uncle Frank Larry "Cobby" Kennedy, Jr. (Susannne). . She will be deeply missed by her family and all those who knew and loved her.
Rachael was a native of the Latimer Community and a resident of Biloxi. She was a 2013 graduate of St. Martin High School and graduated from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, Jefferson Davis Campus. She loved spending time in the mountains with her family and loved reading and writing in her journal. She was a volunteer at Seashore Mission, and was a member of the Biloxi First United Methodist Church.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Loaves and Fishes Center located at 610 Water Street Biloxi, MS 39530. Please contact Bryan Morales at 228-436-6172 for details.
It is located one block off of Highway 90 and Main Street on the right. All friends and family are welcome.
