Preston Darsey, Sr.

Preston L. Darsey, Sr., age 93, of Biloxi, MS, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.

Preston was a native of Dudley, GA and a longtime resident of Biloxi, MS.  He served in the U.S. Army then transferred to the U.S. Air Force with duty stations in Korea, Okinawa, Germany, and Thailand.  He retired from Keesler Air Force Base.

Mr.  Darsey was preceded in death by his son, William “Billy” Darsey; his parents, William F., and Anna Fennell Darsey; his sister, Lena F. Rawling; and his brother Marvin T. Darsey.

Preston is survived by his son, Bud Darsey, Jr. and his three nieces, Joyce Rawlings Powell of Thompson, GA, Judy Rawlins, of Thompson, Ga, and Janet Rawlins Carter of Macon, GA.

Visitation will be at 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi.  Graveside services with full military honors will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery, at 1:30 p.m.
