Philip Wagenschnur

Mr. Philip A. Wagenschnur , 91, died Tuesday, November 11, 2008, in Sugar Land, Texas where he had resided for the past seven years. Prior to his move to Texas, Mr. Wagenschnur had resided in Biloxi for a number of years.
A native of Penns Grove, New Jersey, """"Mr. Phil"""" was one of the original Seabees and served in the navy until his retirement in 1962. He then worked as a quality assurance engineer for a number of construction companies.
Survivors include a daughter, Chris Bristow of Missouri City, Texas; a grandson, James Edward Bristow of Missouri City; and two stepdaughters Elizabeth Dunn of Macon, Georgia and Jan Montgomery of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Services for Philip A. Wagenschnur will be Monday, November 17, 2008, at 10:00am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd., Biloxi. Friends may visit one hour prior to service. Graveside services and burial with full military honors will follow in the Biloxi National Cemetery.
