Philip Lynn Tubbs

Philip ""Lynn"" Tubbs, born December 15, 1937 in Roseland, Florida to the late Atla Clay and Rosa Barker Tubbs.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Mancel and Vander Tubbs.
""The Glassdoctor,"" leaves to cherish his life and memories, his wife of 56 great years, Mary Lewis Tubbs of Gulfport; two sons, Michael (Frances) Tubbs of Maiden, NC, and David (Susie) Tubbs of High Shoals, NC; daughter, Mona (Michael) Franzen of Saucier; brother, Conwell Tubbs; sister, Mary (John) Wood of California; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
From NASCAR to small track racing, Lynn was there until the checker flag dropped. His trade of 55+ years was in the glass business as a Glass Glazer (automotive to home) and his passion for auto mechanics led him to meet and acquire many life-long friends.
We as his family welcome your calls, cards, prayers and visits; however, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
We also extend our greatest gratitude to the compassion and care over the past few years and final months, to Memorial Hospital ER, ICU-5th & 2nd floors and 4A, B, C & D, Select Care, Lakeview Nursing Center, Camellia Home Health, Nursing Management and Boyington Nursing facility.
