Philip Bronson Berg, 62, of Gulfport, passed away Friday June 22, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Col. Robert Leonard and Betty Jane Woodmancy Berg and brother, Jeff Berg.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine Huff Berg, his children. Erin (Shane) Wingate, Adam Berg, Cheryl (Mac) Cothren, Ryan (Courtney) Berg. His sisters, Barbara (Doug) Sparks and Mary (Dick) Reed, 5 granddaughters; Marianna, Savannah, Avery, Addison, Lily and a grandson, Daniel.
Born on May 2, 1956 in Hanover, New Hampshire, Phil was an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America for more than 20 years. He held many roles, even started scouting troops overseas while he was stationed in the Air Force. He retired after 20 years from the United States Air Force as an Air Combat Controller aboard the AWACS aircraft. He worked 30 years as a medic and more than 20 of those years being with American Medical Response. He always had a passion for photography since he was a young boy. He started with a black room in his parents bathroom to eventually owning his own studio.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 26, 2018 at 11AM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME 11280 Three Rivers Rd Gulfport with a visitation for family and friends from 10AM until the service.
