Peter Burnham

Peter George Burnham, 70, of Diamondhead, MS passed away at his home on Saturday, March 13, 2021.  He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Peter was born on January 24, 1951 in Stuttgart, Germany.  He was a 1969 graduate of Brandon High School and attended Hinds County Junior College.  He was a native of Brandon, MS and resided in Kentucky for 28 years as a Human Resources Manager until he retired and moved to South Mississippi in 2006.  He was a devoted father and loving husband.  He loved fishing, playing golf, outdoor gardening with his wife, the New Orleans Saints, and Ole Miss and LSU football.

Peter is preceded in death by his father, Rufus George Burnham; mother, Faye Burnham; and brother, James Burnham.

Peter is survived by his wife, Margaret Burnham of Diamondhead; daughter, Anna Burnham of Waveland; sisters Glenda Coulson (Steve) of Brandon; Christine Butler (Scott) of Franklin, TN; and Ingrid Triplett (O.B.) of Forest; and multiple nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid conditions, a private service will be held for family and close friends at his daughter’s home on Saturday, March 20th.
