Perry W. Fountain, of Biloxi, was called home to the Lord on May 2,2022, after a full happy life of 97 years. He will be reunited in heaven with his wife of 56 years Beryl Fountain.
Perry was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, uncle, great uncle and friend to many.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gasper and Olivia Fountain; brother, Devitt Fountain; sisters, Eleanor LeBlance, Dorothy Barton and Bessie Phillips; wife, Beryl Fountain; and son-in-law, Virgil Byrd.
He is survived by his daughter, Faye Byrd; grandson, Barry Byrd; great- grandson, Ryan(Alexia) Byrd; great-granddaughter, Jennifer(Michael) Necaise; and great-great grandchildren, Lane Necaise, Kalina Byrd and Lyndal Byrd. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews.
Perry left home at the age of 17 to serve his country in the United States Air Force. He traveled the world as an aircraft mechanic before coming home and marrying the love of his life, Beryl. Perry and Beryl had a wonderful life together filled with love, family, traveling and a lot of laughter!
Perry was an avid fisherman in his retirement. He passed his love of fishing on to his family, especially, his great grandson Ryan and great-great grandson Lane.
He was a lifelong parishioner of Sacred Heart parish in D’Iberville. His love and memory will live on in the hearts of all his family. We love you PawPaw… rest in Eternal Peace.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 10446 Lemoyne Blvd, D'Iberville, MS 39540. Burial will be at Martin Ryan Memorial Cemetery, 6624 Bayou Pines Dr. Biloxi, MS. A reception will follow at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. West Jackson County.
