Peggy Jane Lassabe, 73, resident of Kiln died on Wednesday, November 8, 2006, at her home in Kiln.
Mrs. Lassabe was a native of Jacksonville, Texas and was a Pass Christian resident from 1958 until 1973 when she moved to Kiln. She was a homemaker and was Methodist. She enjoyed spending time with her family and also enjoyed Karaoke and crossword puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, F. E. Lassabe; parents, Cecil and Willie Faye Sandefer; brother, Cecil Sandefer, Jr.; and son-in-law, Bruce Lacoste.
Mrs. Lassabe is survived by her children, Phillip E. Beck, Sr. of Jacksonville, Texas and his wife Brenda, Bruce Woods of Slidell, LA and his wife Doraine, Eugenia """"Gina"""" Lacoste of Kiln, Lisa Lassabe Mayo of Jacksonville, Texas, and Joan Necaise of Kiln; stepdaughter, Mary Maydelle Hernandez of Kiln; sister, Betty Taylor of Jacksonville, Texas; brothers, Gaylon and Billy Sandefer of Jacksonville, Texas and Bobby Sandefer of Casper, WY; 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 10, 2006, at Gulf Coast Funeral Homes, 9113 Kiln-DeLisle Road, where friends may visit from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel Friday evening at 5 p.m.
A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9 a.m. on Saturday for interment at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
