Peggy Ann Cox Johnson

Peggy Ann Cox Johnson, 71, of Mobile, Alabama, formerly of Gulfport, Mississippi passed away peacefully and went home to be with the Lord on March 25, 2011.
Mrs. Johnson was born September 27, 1939 in Millport, Alabama to the late Oscar and Lois Cox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Cox Ensminger and one brother, Billy Wayne Cox.
Since her retirement from Broadwater Beach Resort, Biloxi, MS, she enjoyed crafting, keeping home and hearth, and spending special time with her grandchildren. She especially enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband of 52 years, James Johnson; two sons, Timothy Johnson and wife Debbie of Gulfport, MS; Titus Johnson and wife, Linda of Boone NC; one daughter, Leticia Newman and husband Rob of San Antonio, TX; two granddaughters, Macy Johnson and Lauren Newman; one grandson, Bradley Johnson; two brothers, Jimmy Cox and Joe Cox; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 8:30 to 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd, Biloxi. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 am in the funeral home chapel, with burial to follow at 11:00 am at the VA National Cemetery in Biloxi.
