Peggy Reeves Dearmon

Peggy Lynn Reeves Dearmon, age 75, of Hattiesburg, MS passed away August 1, 2024 at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, MS. She was born December 5, 1948 to Thomas Edward Reeves and Jewel Holcombe Reeves. She was a long time member of First Assembly of God in Butler, AL, before moving to Hattiesburg where she attended Hope Church. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald “Ronnie” Edward Dearmon; and her parents, Thomas and Jewel Reeves. 

She is survived by her daughter, Cassandra “Casey” Taylor (Keith) of Oak Grove, MS; sons, Jeremy Dearmon of Columbia, SC and Jay Dearmon (Mary Sue) of Pass Christian, MS; brother, Thomas Reeves (Jean) of Columbia, SC; sister, Cheryl Morris (Marcus) of Mount Dora, FL; grandchildren, Jonah Dearmon (Fernanda), Shannon Taylor Ray (David), Reagan Taylor (Taylor Hebert), Conner Waits, Ella Grace Waits, Tinley Drew Dearmon, Mira Baylee Dearmon and Everly Rose Dearmon; great grand daughters, Amara Dearmon, Ella Hebert, and due Nov 2024 Leighton Elise Ray; many nieces and nephews, and close friends. 

 A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Her ashes will be placed next to her husband in Kimbrough Cemetery Millry, AL.
