Peggy Jean Bleil, age 86, passed away on January 4, 2025 in Gulfport, MS. She was born in Philadelphia, Mississippi and a long time resident of Biloxi.
Peggy was a member of Coalville United Methodist Church, served as State President of the Auxiliary to the Mississippi Dental Association and Trustee of the Auxiliary of the American Dental Association. She served as Queen of Krewe of Bilikins Fiftieth Ball and Queen of the Krewe of Les Cavaliers Thirty Seventh Ball.
She is preceded in death by her father, Thurman James Posey; mother, Marguerite Taylor Posey of Philadelphia, MS; and son, Michael S. Kendrick.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Dr. Bruce T. Bleil of Biloxi; son, Dr. David J. Houser of Biloxi; stepchildren, Bryan C. Bleil (Karen) of Austin, TX, and Varina Bleil of Santa Monica, CA; grandchildren, Jessica Kendrick of Philadelphia, MS, Rebecca Bleil, Gabriella Bleil of Austin, TX, and Grace Tortora of Los Angeles, CA.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, with visitation starting at 12:00 pm, on Tuesday, January 14th 2024, at Riemann Family Funeral Home 274 Beauvoir Rd. Biloxi, MS. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Ave. Biloxi, MS.
