Pauline Hastings

Pauline Hastings, of Biloxi, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024, in New Orleans, at the age of 75.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Hastings, Sr; mother, Eva Carmen Heeter; father, Marvin McKenneth Adkins; step father, Eugene Heeter; sister, Geri Bryant; and brother, Larry Atkins.

Pauline is survived by her children, Regina (Rodney) Lister, Shawn (Carmelita) Hastings, Michael (Corine) Walton, Marcie (Troy) Field, Chevy Hastings, and Johnny (Ellen) Hastings; sister, Lynn (Clyde) Mullins; brother, Chris Heeter; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pauline dedicated many years of her life to her career notably working for Richards Ind. running the Utah Branch and later finding fulfillment at Home Depot alongside her husband. Together, they embraced retirement after years of hard work.

In the realm of education, Pauline completed high school and carried the lessons she learned into every day of her life. Beyond the professional sphere, Pauline's true passions shone through. She possessed a love for cooking that knew no bounds - nobody left her presence with an empty stomach. Additionally, she found joy in horseback riding with her riding club, cheering on Nascar races with her husband, and embracing the freedom of being full-time RV'ers post-retirement.

Her proudest accomplishments centered around family and love; she took immense pride in raising her children with care and marrying her husband, John, with whom she shared 30 beautiful years.

In settling in Biloxi, MS to savor the beach life, Pauline found peace and contentment in the simple joys that surrounded her.

Pauline Hastings will be dearly missed by her surviving family and friends. Though she may have departed this world, the memories created with her vibrant spirit shall endure for a lifetime.
