Paul Franklin Stockus

Paul Franklin Stockus, born on June 21, 1952, in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, passed away on April 23, 2025, in Gulfport, Mississippi, at the age of 72. He lived a fulfilling life dedicated to his family and career, retiring as a respected engineer after completing his education at the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Paul was known for his good-natured spirit and his remarkable ability to “put up” with the antics of his wife, Lea Ann Stockus, and their two daughters, Jaqualyn Herman (Joe) and Kelly Hamaker. His patience and humor were defining qualities that endeared him to all who knew him. Beyond his family, Paul cherished the times spent with his siblings—Frank Stockus (Mary), Marlin Beutler (Rick), Karen Pankonen (Tim), and Nikki Ponchaud (Tags)—and took great joy in connecting with his loving nieces and nephews.

Throughout his life, Paul had a passion for golf, gambling, and bowling, embracing these hobbies as ways to enjoy life and connect with friends. His enthusiasm for these activities brought laughter and joy to many.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Dorothy Stockus, who instilled in him the values of hard work and dedication that he carried throughout his life.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who will remember him not only for his contributions as an engineer but for the warmth and love he brought into their lives. The family will plan a Memorial Gathering to be held at a later date in Wisconsin.

Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport, is serving the family, and the online guestbook may be signed, and memories shared at www.riemannfamily.com
