Paul Edward Parks, age 84, of Gulfport, died on Thursday, August 2, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mr. Parks was preceded in death by his parents, John David Parks and Lula Coffman Parks, his son, John David Parks, and his brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Rubye M. Parks of Gulfport, his children, Mary Kegerrois of Chiefland, FL, Paul Ed Parks of Riverview, FL, Susan J. Johnson and her husband, David, of Kerrville, TX, Robert L. Parks and his wife, Lana, of Tampa, FL, Eldridge Parks of Riverview, FL, Jimmie Louis Parks of Gulfport, Sarah Ann Ford and her husband, Clark, of Port St Lucie, FL, and Floyd L. Parks of Tampa, FL; his grandchildren, Charlene Oatman, John David Parks, and James David Parks, all of Gulfport, Terra Ford of Port St Lucie, FL, Cara Bolen of Gainesville, FL, Sarah Miller of Panama City, FL, and Michael Parks of Riverview, FL and numerous great grandchildren.
He served in the Army Air Corp in World War II, retired as a Master Mechanic, and was of the Baptist faith.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 6, 2007 at 11:00 AM at THE RIEMANN FAMILY'S Riemann Funeral Home, Highway 49 N, Gulfport, where friends may call from 9:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
