CWO4 Paul Louis Moody, Jr., United States Navy, Retired, age 67, of Diamondhead, died Sunday, August 10, 2008 in Biloxi.
He was a native of North Carolina and entered the U.S. Navy after completing high school. While in the Navy, he served in 2 campaigns during the Vietnam Conflict and later retired with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 4. He was a member and past commander of the VFW in Bay St. Louis, a member of the American Legion, Bay St. Louis, worked as the Vereran's Service Officer in Bay St. Louis, and also worked as a computer tech at NASA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul L. and Lorraine Moody, Sr., and 2 brothers, Thomas and Richard Moody.
Survivors include his loving wife, Jackie Moody, Diamondhead; 5 children: Jan P. (Jasmin) Moody, Portugal, John F. (Tonya) Malboeuf, TN, Jacques E. (Lisa) Malboeuf, MI, Antoinette M. (Bill) Briere, TX, and Jeffrey B. Malboeuf, OR; 1 sister, Doris (A.J.) Pittman, and 1 brother, Donald Moody, both of NC; 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be 1 pm Wednesday at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, Pass Christian where friends may visit from 12 - 1 pm.
Interment, with full military honors, will be in the Biloxi National Cemetery.
