Paul was born to the late Ethel and Mary Flowers Magee, one of 15 children on November 10, 1933, in Covington County, Collins, MS. Paul left this physical body to be with our Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Merit Health Hospital in Biloxi, MS.
Paul joined the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, Collins, MS. He attended Friendship Community School in Collins, MS. He joined the U.S. Army and retired from the service as a Sargent. He resided in Colorado Springs for many years. Paul attended a Baptist Church in Colorado Springs under watch care. He moved b ack to Biloxi, MS and he resided at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Biloxi, MS.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Smith Magee; his parents, Ethel and Mary Flowers Magee; his siblings, Tammer Lee Graves, Ethel Mae Barnes, Lawrence Magee, Willie J. Magee, Joshua Magee, Anthony Magee, Eugene Magee, Elder Garway Magee and Silas Magee.
He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted brother/nephew, Rev. Willie V. (Mae Ola) Magee, of Prentiss, MS; Two sister in laws, Lillie Kate Magee of Collins, MS and Annie Magee of Chesapeake, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and relatives.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 – 2:00pm, April 28, 2022, at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 27 Friendship Road, Collins, MS., service will be held at 2:00 pm and interment will immediately follow the service.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 1280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS, is serving the family.
