Patricia """"Patti"""" Ann Kuntz, age 56, of Long Beach succumb to her short but hard fought battle with brain and breast cancer on Friday, May 21, 2010.
Patti was born September 11, 1953 in Williston, ND. She grew up in Dickinson, ND
where she graduated from Dickinson High School in 1971 and later married James Kuntz in 1975.
She obtained a degree from Dickinson State University as a Certified Medical Transcriptionist in 1993. Patti resided in Minneapolis for several years before moving to Long Beach in 2003 to be near her aging father. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, spending time with her infant grandson,
and making special pillows for her family and close friends. Patti was a very intelligent woman and she was a great mom, daughter, and sister.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hugh Liberty Warren, mother, Carolyn Warren, and a brother, James Warren.
She is survived by her children, Kari Kuntz, Lexi Kuntz, William Liberty Borg, grandson, Caleb Liberty Augustus Borg, sister, Susan Horsley, and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 5 - 7 pm Tuesday at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am Wednesday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church where friends may visit from 9 - 9:30 am.
A graveside service will be held at 2 pm in Warren Family Cemetery, Sandy Hook, MS.
The family invites everyone to wear something pink for the services in honor of her courageous battle with cancer. A special thanks to the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church members whose constant support and prayers helped Patti and her family.
