Patsy Mcguire

Patsy K. McGuire, age 51, died January 27, 2008 in Gulfport, MS.
She was born on October 24, 1956 in Cherry Point, North Carolina. Patsy was employed at Lowes in Gulfport for twelve years. She was a member of Bayou View Baptist Church. Patsy was courageous during her long battle with cancer, as her faith in God remained strong. She will always be remembered as a devoted, loving mother to her son, Dakota, who was her greatest joy in life.
She was preceded in death by her father, Norman McGuire. Survivors include her son, Dakota McGuire; her mother, Anna McGuire; her brother, Norman McGuire, Jr. and his wife Kitty; and her sisters Sherry Head and her husband Luther, and Judy Wallace and her husband Leon.
The family would like to thank all of the wonderful employees of Canon Hospice in Gulfport for the care that they gave Patsy during the last days of her life. They are truly angels.
The family would also like to express their appreciation to her co-workers from Lowes and members of Bayou View Baptist Church, along with friends and family who have been supportive throughout her illness.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Bayou View Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Canon Hospice in Gulfport.
