Patrick Gene Tracy

Patrick G. Tracy, Sr., 81, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport. Born March 30, 1929, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, he was a long time resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, where he retired after more than 30 years service with AT&T. He resided in Diamondhead, Mississippi since 1988 with his wife, Betty Jane Savoy Tracy, to whom he was married 60 years. He is survived by his wife and by a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Dennis Schaff of Mandeville, Louisiana, three sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick (Jr.) and Marguerite Tracy of Lafayette, Louisiana, Michael and Charleen Tracy of Norfolk, Virginia, and Glenn and Deidre Tracy of Ashburn, Virginia, as well as ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur J. Tracy and Evelyn Grandeury Tracy of New Orleans, and was brother of A.J., Ty, Spencer, and Michael Tracy.
