Patrick Lee Savage, age 20, passed away on February 8, 2010.
Patrick was a resident of Long Beach and a 2008 graduate of Long Beach High School. He played the bass drum and trombone in the Bearcats band where he also was the brass captain. He was a former student at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, where he also played in the band. He enjoyed writing and wrote beautiful poetry. An avid Alabama football fan, he was especially happy that his team won the 2010 National Football College championship. ROLL TIDE!
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert R. Savage; his grandfather, Howard L. Savage; his great grandfather, Walter S. Johnston; an uncle, Jesse Killgroe; and a cousin, Jeff Miller.
He is survived by his loving family - his mother, Tina M. Savage of Long Beach; his sisters, Katie Savage and Jennifer Allen, both of Biloxi; his step brothers, Lee Luck, Cody Luck, and Spc Jay Kuppinger of Pensacola, FL; his stepmother, Kimberly Luck of Long Beach; his girlfriend, Amy Beets, of Long Beach; his maternal grandparents, Ed """"PawPaw Howard"""" Killgroe and his wife, Doris, of Perkinston; Patricia Roberts and her husband, Hubert, of New Mexico; paternal grandmother, Doris Savage, of Gulfport; maternal great grandmother, Grace """"Honey"""" Johnston, of Biloxi; aunts and uncles, Ann Cook and her husband, Ray, of Gulfport, Ben Savage of Gulfport, Howard Savage and his wife, Kathy, of Wiggins; Larry Savage and his wife, Vicki, of Biloxi; Betty Jo Ladnier and her husband, Sonny, of Wiggins; Kay Andrews and her husband, Jeff, of Long Beach; Rachel Watson and her husband, Michael, of Gulfport, David Savage and his wife, Gayle, of Wiggins, Eva Savage of Gulfport; and Jaimie Lanham and her husband, Justin; nieces, Haley and Holly of Gulfport; and tons of cousins and friends who loved him dearly.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church, Long Beach where family and friends may visit from Noon until service time. Burial will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Thompson Cemetery, near Prentiss, MS.
